McCain wrong on surge's impact

John McCain continues to claim that the surge has worked. If it has, then why are we not ending our occupation of Iraq? On two occasions in the distant past, John proclaimed victory in Iraq. Since his proclamations, we have been occupying Iraq but John keeps talking about victory in Iraq which is ludicrous. Obama has it right - let us end our occupation in a time frame of a fixed number of months. This is also what Iraq wants.
