It's OK to be liberal again
The detailed results of this of this election have not yet been tallied, but the early numbers reflect the renewed enthusiasm for being liberal! For the previous seven years liberals have been slandered as "traitors" for questioning the duplicitous Iraq invasion. Liberals have been labeled weak on immigration. Liberals have been accused of being non-Christian. ENOUGH!
The liberal agenda will lift middle class Americans back into being magnanimous and sympathetic toward the neediest Americans. It will no longer be popular to disparage the unemployed, the home buyers in foreclosure, etc.
Liberal Democrats can once again hold their heads up and speak out on unpopular issues that they deem unfair to "the loyal opposition". Let it be known that offering your hand to lift up a needy neighbor will be admired as heroic, as heroic as placing a ribbon sticker (to support the troops) on the bumper of your automobile. Being liberal will once again be something to be PROUD of, not something to reject as a flaw!
