Endorsements come too late

I consider my right to vote the essential foundation of our democracy. I carefully research the candidates and issues on the ballot, but always find the judicial selections difficult. I usually find the discussions and endorsements in the newspapers, including the Daily Herald, helpful in making my choices. Unfortunately, your endorsements, printed last weekend, came too late this year. I would like to recommend that in the future, you print endorsements at the beginning of the early voting period. Those of us who voted early would appreciate it.
