Romeoville man a goose-calling champ

EASTON, Md. -- Wade Walling of Romeoville scored a total of 785 points to win the World Goose Calling Championship.

Walling called his victory "probably the most unbelievable experience I've ever felt."

His calling skills earned $10,000 in prize money, a trophy, gift certificates and outdoor merchandise.

Walling says his grandfather gave him his first call when he was in grade school, and he's been practicing ever since.

The World Goose Calling Championship was held at the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Md., over the weekend.
