Armed robbers sought in Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police are investigating an armed robbery and home invasion that occurred Friday afternoon. At 3:30 p.m. police responded to a call from an apartment on the 2200 block of South Goebbert Road where a resident reported two men demanded money and property, Sgt. Bob Murray said. Police believe the men are known to the victim. Officials are looking for the two individuals but as of Friday night didn't have anyone in custody. Police said the incident is not considered a random act.
