Mall to assist Habitat for Humanity
You can help local community organizations on Saturday, Nov. 15.
In this season of giving, The Giving Spree is a simple way to give back. This holiday season Spring Hill Mall brings a great opportunity to support Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley and seven other local community organizations while giving shoppers exclusive savings from many of their favorite stores.
Here's how "The Giving Spree" works:
• Visit thegivingspree.com and select the nonprofit organization you'd like to support: Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley, District 300 Foundation for Educational Excellence, Giant Steps Illinois, Hamilton Wings, Make a Wish Foundation of Illinois, Renz Addiction Counseling Center, Shop with a Cop, and Two Rivers Head Start Agency.
• Make a secure online donation of at least $5 by Nov. 14. Each donation is 100 percent tax deductible.
• Receive a list of exclusive offers from a variety of favorite retailers that will be offered and y available on one exclusive special shopping day, Saturday, Nov. 15, during all mall hours.
Shoppers who do not make an online donation can make a minimum $5 donation to the Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley in Center Court on Saturday, Nov. 15, during mall hours on The Giving Spree Day on Saturday.

Spring Hill Mall, at routes 31 and 72 in West Dundee, is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

• District 300 Foundation for Educational Excellence: Dedicated to enhancing and extending innovative education at the classroom level.
• Giant Steps Illinois: Nonprofit educational and therapeutic day school for children with autism.
• Hamilton Wings: Promotes leadership development and academic readiness of socially and/or economically challenged youth through innovative arts programs.
• Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois: Grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
• Renz Addiction Counseling Center: Dedicated to the prevention and treatment of addictive disorders and to factors often associated with addiction.
Shop With A Cop: Takes children with social or economic needs to breakfast and a shopping spree for the holidays.
• Two Rivers Head Start Agency: Its mission is to alleviate the effects of poverty by providing education, support services, and opportunities for children, families and communities.
