Vote yes for Huntley Library expansion

Voting "yes" for the Huntley library referendum Nov. 4 makes good economic sense for all citizens in the library district. Many families and seniors are closely watching the economy and trying to get the most out of their limited resources.

The Huntley Library can assist because this facility is rich in services free to library card holders. DVD's for movies save going to the video store. Books for all ages are available. Audio CD's can assist those who commute to work. Computers are there to help with school research and a safe place for our children to study and gather. Book discussion clubs are an economical way for people to socialize. Borrowing music CD's saves money and provides an opportunity to sample of wide variety. The reference desk can help answer questions of all kinds.

We are proud of this centerpiece in our community, and it will be even better with the needed expansion. This is a good value of your dollars for the future of our community.

Benjamin Franklin, one of America's most enlightened thinkers, spurred development of libraries in 1731. His motto in Latin roughly translates as "To support the common good is divine." Support our Huntley Library expansion for the benefit of you and everyone.
