Elgin woman attacked inside bar

An Elgin woman was attacked by four women inside a bar on the 200 block of South McLean Boulevard at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, police said.

According to reports, the victim sustained numerous scratches on her face, a bruise on her left cheek and a three-inch scratch on her throat.

Police said the victim punched another woman in the eye during an argument, at which point the four women attacked her.
