Chicago toddler is killed by falling TV

A 2-year-old Chicago girl has died from head injuries after a television fell on top of her.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office says Delores Martinez died Saturday afternoon at Children's Memorial Hospital. She had suffered head trauma.

Officers arrived at her North Side home about 1:30 p.m. and found her unresponsive.

The medical examiner's office has ruled that the incident was an accident.
