Huntley cops get federal grant

The Huntley Police Department has received a federal grant for a surveillance camera system. The portable system has three cameras the department can use to track crime in areas with low light or in complete darkness. Police said the cameras will help them keep an eye on areas that have been the target of copper theft or graffiti. The cameras can be monitored live from a remote location. The grant also paid for one officer to receive training in how to use the surveillance system.
