Leaders have made a mess of state

Now that is the power of personality. Let's suspend all thinking after Stroger's tax policies or Blowdryovich's corruption. Springfield is an ego-driven foodfight between Madigan and the governor. Property values are down and property taxes are up. We pay some of the highest gas prices in the nation. We should take the eagle off our state flag and replace it with an animal better suited to our political tastes, like sheep.
