Zebic rejoins Storm roster
The Chicago Storm professional indoor soccer team has signed forward Zlatko Zebic for the Xtreme Soccer League team's 2008-2009 season.
Zebic, a native of Loznica, Serbia and Montenegro, is the 15th player signed by the Storm for its upcoming season. Zebic played with the Rockford Rampage of the American Indoor Soccer League in 2007-2008. He also played for the Storm during the team's second season in In his two seasons before the Storm, Zebic played for Pallacanestro Varese in the Italian League. He also played soccer for MFK Kosice in the Slovak Corgon Liga, and BSC Young Boys in the Swiss Axpo Super League.
"Zlatko is an interesting prospect. He came to Chicago with a lot of high hopes and was never really given the opportunity to adjust to the indoor game," Storm head coach Steve Morris said. "Now he's actively involved with the game. He's big, strong and athletic. He has great skill and strikes the ball well with both feet. We're thrilled to have him."

The Storm's 2008-2009 XSL season kicks off with a road game at New Jersey on Dec. 14. Chicago's home opener takes place at 7 p.m. Dec. 20, against Milwaukee, at the Sears Centre Arena.
