Route 31 tollway ramps open, close tonight

The westbound ramps on I-90 at Route 31 are scheduled to reopen overnight Monday, Oct. 13. At 8 p.m. Monday, the entrance ramp from southbound Route 31 to eastbound I-90 and the eastbound exit ramp to northbound Route 31 are scheduled to close for bridge repair work on I-90 over Route 31.

The eastbound ramps were closed in late September for bridge repair work. The eastbound ramps will close for bridge deck pavement repair work. Both ramps will close for approximately three weeks and detours will be posted.

Eastbound tollway traffic will be shifted to the left shoulder and the two left lanes to accommodate the bridge work while keeping three main lanes open.

A 45 mph speed limit will be in effect in the construction zone 24 hours a day, whether workers are present or not.
