Too bad dueling has been banned
The Obama campaign could put all the spin they wish to on their candidate's recent remarks, but from those of us who heard and viewed the senator's statement, one would have to be absolutely clueless not to realize his "lipstick on a pig ... is still a pig" faux pas was directed to Governor Palin.
I am sorry to live during this time when our great country banned dueling, otherwise I would just love to see First Gentleman (with an emphasis on Gentleman) Todd Palin slap Barack upside the head with his snowmobile glove, not only in defending his lady, but for all the ladies in ths country the candidate affronted with this lipstick remark.
Obama's comments were about as low a comment could be against women everywhere and simply demonstrate his true and deeply mendacious character.
A comment like this coming from any gentleman would be considered outrageously insulting, but coming from a man who wants to be the president of our great nation and leader of the free world is exceptionally unconscionable.
Just another 'oops' in what seems to be a highly flawed character camouflaged by charismatic deliverance of mesmerizing oratory, as Mr. Shakespeare so plainly put it, "signifying nothing."
