Man crashes into Lake Co. tavern

A driver almost took a tavern's name literally after nearly plowing his vehicle into the C'Mon Inn in Grayslake Tuesday afternoon. Gurnee Fire Protection District firefighters were called to C'Mon Inn at 34028 N. Route 45 around 3:34 p.m. Tuesday. Firefighters took the unidentified male driver to Condell Medical Center in Libertyville after he was knocked unconscious from the crash, Gurnee firefighters said. The vehicle crashed into a deck that goes around the building then the vehicle landed on its side. Lake County Sheriff's department police are investigating, but did not have information about the crash late Tuesday.
