Constitution is not Illinois' problem

I am appalled by the idea that our state could end up spending $80 million for a constitutional convention.

The time for a constitutional convention is when there is a problem with the constitution.

Illinois doesn't have a constitutional crisis. Illinois has a crisis of leadership.

Those who think Con-Con is the answer to the problems we're currently having should be aware that the same legislators who don't seem to be able to fix school funding or repair our roads will be in change of setting up the $80 million convention.

I'm going to vote to vote "no" on Con-Con and I hope others who oppose government waste will join me.
