Palin won't fool today's women
In has been written that Sarah Palin's convention speech was riddled with misinformation about Obama's positions. It was her first time out and, after all, the speech was written by somebody else. So, let's get past all that. Thinking women want to hear what Sarah thinks and what she's done that shows that she could handle the job she's interviewing for. Women want to know that the Republican VP will be more than a bobblehead with a speaker in her skirt attached to a team of Bush speech writers.
Women want to know who the real VP candidate is. The one, who McCain thinks, can nestle into the co-pilots seat. There's only a few weeks before the election. Or, is all we'll get smoke and skirts and the hope that the women's vote can be had for a piece of eye candy.
Sarah should stop embarrassing women voters by playing the mom card, the beauty queen card, the church member card and the sports jock card. We all have those cards and then some. Sarah needs to show us some brains and stop acting like a trophy candidate.
Most women are looking for a team dedicated to honesty, integrity, constitutional government, taking control away from controlling lobbyists, making our economy work for us to sustain our families. We want people working to decrease our human impact on earth, and increasing our human impact on the safety, health and well being of our fellow citizens. Being sharp tongued and well rehearsed isn't enough. Waving a skirt, like a Matador's cloak isn't enough. An untouchable ghost candidate is not going to fool today's women, regardless of color or gender.
