3 banks robbed in Chicago
The FBI and Chicago police are looking into the robbery of three banks.
FBI spokesman Ross Rice says the first robbery occurred early Monday on Chicago's southwest side. Witnesses say a slim, tall man wearing a mask, approached a teller, displayed a weapon and got an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot.
Rice says three hours later, the Chase Bank branch on Chicago's Northwest Side was robbed by a man who approached a teller, displayed a gun and demanded money. That suspect was described as a 55-year-old white man wearing a hooded sweat shirt.
A third bank, a Bank of America branch on Chicago's North Side, was robbed.
No one was injured and no arrests had been made in any of the robberies.
