Hoffman cops: 4 teens committed 10 burglaries
Hoffman Estates police have arrested four teens, saying they're responsible for at least 10 burglaries.
Both homes and cars were burglarized, with digital cameras, laptop computers and GPS units among the items taken, police said.
The teens were arrested around 9:40 p.m. Monday near the 1100 block of Hermitage Lane. Police were responding to a burglary from a car. Three of the suspects ran from the scene but were later arrested. Police say the teens possessed items linking them with previous burglaries.
Three 16-year-old males and a 15-year-old male, all from Hoffman Estates, were arrested and cited with five counts of felony residential burglary and five counts of felony burglary to auto, police said.
