Handbell ringer's tour to honor her father

As part of her 2008 Midwest Tour, solo handbell ringer Kathie Fink will present "Legacy," a tribute to her father, Larry Fink Sr. and the Fink Family Handbell Ringers at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 6 at Barrington United Methodist Church, 98 Algonquin Road, at Route 59, Barrington.

The free concert will include TV clips from 1963-65 and historical interviews with the Fink family. Kathie Fink will be accompanied on the piano by her sister-in-law Sharon Fink.

She began ringing handbells with her family when she was nine years old and today she is a founding member of Sonos Handbell Ensemble in the San Francisco Bay Area. Come laugh at the early television recordings, be moved by Kathie's solo ringing musicality and refresh your spirit with the timeless classics of the faith.
