You're not pro-life if you OK abortion

At this time, it seems that there are many people who think of themselves as pro-life and are trying to justify their vote for Sen. Obama, a pro-choice candidate.

Mary Delaney, a recent writer to the Fence Post, is one of them.

She believes Obama has a pro-life attitude on matters such as: health care, education, gun control, ending the war, environmental issues, protection of Medicare and Social Security, and this balances out his truly anti-life view when it comes to the matter of abortion.

His record:

-Voted "no" to the partial-birth abortion act.

-Voted "no" to granting parents the right to know if their child is having an abortion.

-Voted to force everyone to have tax dollars support abortion.

-Became the only Illinois state senator to argue against a bill that would protect living, often healthy babies born after an abortion.

-Has announced that the first thing he will do, after becoming president, will be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act.

-Wants taxpayer money to support Planned Parenthood, a group responsible for 300,000 babies killed each year.

-Suggested that abortion had to be legal so mothers would not be "punished with a baby."

Anyone who is truly pro-life knows that Sen. Obama is not someone he would want to vote for.

His pro-life views come to nothing if they do not include the right to life for all those human beings waiting to be born.
