We do not need Democratic 'change'

I love the optimistic Fence Posters who seem to be hoping for "change" with the Democratic ticket.

However, are they referring to a good change or a bad change?

For example, when one changes his socks, that's usually a good change. When one changes his mind, that could be good or bad.

George W. Bush has done a great job, along with those who work for him, in forming defense groups to protect our freedom.

On Sept. 11, 2001, the radicals planned to strike our nation with 10 violent and merciless attacks, killing thousands.

They were only successful with four attacks. If they had carried out the other six, I shudder to think of the devastation.

Before I stop leaning against my favorite post, I want to share what I read today. "Automobile crashes claim more than 5,000 teens annually."

So it would seem that no matter whether our young people are here or in Iraq and Afghanistan, the casualty rates are about the same.

We can never thank the men enough who are fighting to control oppressive governments and to help ensure our freedom, but we can sure try.

We must provide excellent health care for those returning and never forget those who are not returning.
