Villa Park cops investigating train fatality

Police continue to investigate a train accident that killed a man early Thursday morning in Villa Park.

Officer Bill Lyons said an eastbound Union Pacific freight train struck and killed the man, whose identity has not been made public.

The incident remains under investigation.

The eastbound track was closed for about three hours during the investigation and two trains were delayed for about two hours.
