Arlington Heights to buy police van

The Arlington Heights village board on Monday unanimously approved spending $124,904 to buy a communications van for the police department. The money for the van will come from federal and state seizure funds, according to a village memo. The Ford Econoline E-250 will be bought from Specialty Vehicle Solutions, based in Trenton, N.J.
