Some ponds from Chicago would help
The day is coming when all the homes and business will be gone for the new expanding O'Hare Airport. After all the flooding that hit our area we have to look to the future. After the 1987 flooding we started building retention ponds all over the state and it helped a lot. Now the city of Chicago can step up and help after all the homes are gone and the area is all fenced in, why not put in one or two retention ponds like we have at Lake Street and Wood Dale Road. It would help our area.
