Too much at stake for Obama to lead

The economy is at a tipping point with a realistic prospect of a deep recession on the near horizon. We are engaged in a war on terrorism with potential battlefields stretching from North Africa all the way to the Philippines with the leader of Iran publicly threatening to blow Israel off the face of the Earth. Russia is flush with new petro dollars, seems intent on rebuilding its once formidable military back to their glory days and is currently planning Navel maneuvers with three of our known enemies (Libya, Syria and Venezuela) involving several new war ships.

To say we are living in uncertain times is putting it mildly, downright scary times is a bit closer to reality.

Having all these circumstances coming together mere weeks before we elect our next President should have everyone thinking about who and what we need leading us through this mine field of potential trouble that goes off in many different directions. I see many on the Democrat side questioning if we want an inexperienced first-term Governor in the vice presidential chair a heartbeat away from the presidency. My only response is I would rather have the inexperience in the VP chair as opposed to the Oval Office. Does it not make you wonder what they think of your intelligence when they use this argument ... 'Let's go ahead and use this strategy, the public will never put two and two together and figure out Obama has even less experience'.

We need to decide, do we want a smooth talking first term junior Senator who has now spent more time campaigning then he has fulfilling his commitment to be Illinois's Senator or a grizzled war vet with over thirty years in government. John McCain has been through it all and didn't blink. Someone needs to tell Obama that the Oval Office doesn't come with a teleprompter. I believe we need a tough old experienced leader who thinks America first.
