Require English on our election ballots

In a recent election, I noticed the ballots were printed in foreign languages as well as in English.

This is puzzling to me.

If a voter cannot understand the ballot printed in English, how can they understand the issues and the views of the candidates seeking office?

The most important candidates and prospective leaders will be presented to the American people in November.

How can non-English speaking voters cast ballots without being able to understand the issues and the integrity of the candidates?

I have never heard a major American candidate campaign in a language other than English.

This is America.

Our leaders should be chosen by voters who can read, speak and understand our nation's language and issues.

There is an old saying, "It loses in the translation."
