Federal bailout has the look of a con job

I am 71. I remember the "Great Society." I remember the outcry over the amount of money the welfare mothers were stealing. Those thefts were a like a spit in the ocean compared to the amounts our government representatives and their friends steal.

This bailout had one of the earmarks of a con job. Rush! Sign now! Or the world as we know it will crumble. Why is this a rush?

Was Paulson surprised? Bernanke?

Who created this mess? The same Congress that is now spending my great great great grandchildren's money to fix it.
