• The Kane County Flea Market is from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, at Route 64 and Randall Road, St. Charles. Admission is $5; free for kids ages 12 and under. (630) 377-2252.

• The 5th Annual Fall Antiques Show & Sale at Arlington Park expands to include a third day this year. The show, which features more than 125 booths, is from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 11, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, at Arlington Park, 2200 W. Tours

• The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County's Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook presents architect Mike Jackson for an architectural restoration lecture on "Sustaining Design: Lessons From the Past" from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7.
