Unions hurting American workers

When are unions going to take credit for their real true accomplishments? They created enemies of business and workers. They arranged for strikes and walkouts (which are really a form of blackmail) to force companies to provide raises and all the perks they could dream up (actually as a reason for union existence). They outdistanced wages and benefits here as compared to other countries, so that eventually our businesses all took their manufacturing elsewhere, out of the country, so that they could be competitive in the world markets, and not be constantly harassed by the unions. The result is that there are hardly any jobs left in the USA for members of the unions that so greedily caused all this, except for the struggling companies still forced to use them. Unions were created to get people out of slave labor conditions, but that accomplished, they refused to quit and give up all their union dues and power. I hope history reveals the true reason that America's jobs all disappeared.
