It's all for sale, so CN a done deal
My fellow Americans, or as John McCain would say, "my friends," after reading the story in the Daily Herald Thursday, Aug. 28 "5,100 turn out over EJ&E," I was surprised to learn that the members of the Surface Transportation Board were appointed by the president. Then I wondered why people are wasting their time and energy to fight the proposed purchase by Canadian National. Mr. Bush's track record of selling out America to every investor with a dollar in their hand should not be any surprise. So why should this? As far as I am concerned these hearings are just a mere formality for a deal that is already done. So when you are sitting in your cars at a rail crossing waiting for the train to clear the track or when the sound of the added trains wakes you in the middle of the night, ask yourself one question: Who did you vote for in 2000 and 2004? And if it was George Wrong then you have no one to blame but yourself.
