How could the female governor of Alaska oppose sex ed for schools?

Her family may be able to support a grandchild born to an unmarried teen daughter, but most families cannot.

Where was the governor's judgment on this sex ed issue? Alaska has a very high rate of sexually transmitted diseases. This is nothing to respect or be proud of as it sets such a poor example.
