Investigate taxes in Grass Lake district

Real estate taxes in the Grass Lake School District are obscene. As a senior citizen about to be driven out of his town home that I worked all my life to obtain, I am really disappointed in the school board. Years of poor planning and local residents who chose to pass on to future residents the cost of their children's education is hitting seniors hard. It would be nice if the Daily Herald would take a stand on or publish an expose on this subject.
