Abortion and our moral standing

I am pleased that Sen. Obama wants to put an end to genocide, but he seems to still favor infanticide through partial birth abortion.

How can he possibly "restore our moral standing so that America is once again that last, best hope for all who are called to the cause of freedom, who long for lives of peace and who yearn for a better future" when he said the government has an interest in "preventing increasing numbers of children from being born in to lives of pain and despair?"
