Scouting: U.S. vs. Trinidad and Tobago
When: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Toyota Park in Bridgeview
What: 2010 World Cup qualifier
TV: ESPN2
Scouting the United States: The first two games of the semifinal round have seemed to be about simply getting a point or 3 and getting away. Neither game was pretty, just effective. The Americans could virtually clinch a finals berth with a win, and they could make their fans feel better by scoring 2-3 goals and looking strong in the process.
Scouting Trinidad and Tobago: The U.S. defense will need to keep an eye on Keon Daniel and Cornell Glen.
Next: United States vs. Cuba, Oct. 11 in Washington
