Zambrano, Harden, Lilly to follow Dempster in Cubs' playoff rotation

MILWAUKEE - Cubs manager Lou Piniella has set his team's pitching rotation for the National League division series.

One day after naming Ryan Dempster to start Game 1, Piniella on Friday said Carlos Zambrano will pitch Game 2, followed by Rich Harden in Game 3 and lefty Ted Lilly in Game 4, if that game is needed. Jason Marquis, the Cubs' No. 5 starter in the regular season, will go to the bullpen for the playoffs.

The division series begins with games at Wrigley Field next Wednesday and Thursday before shifting to the other team's park for Game 3 next Saturday.

"I've said before I announced any pitcher that I have confidence in all four of my starters," Piniella said. "All games are equally important."
