Meditation Experience: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17; Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road. The free presentation is open to the public, requires no advance reservations and includes answers to the questions: what is meditation; why meditate; and how do you meditate? Beginning Oct. 1, there will biweekly meditation sessions from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and include a half-hour of discussion time and a final hour of actual meditation. Different techniques will be introduced. There is no fee or registration to attend the weekly meditation sessions.
