No matter who wins, race will be exciting
We have Barack Obama, the first bi-racial candidate nominated to run for president on the Democratic ticket. He selects "one of the old boys," Biden, to be his running mate while stating his campaign is for "change." He selected Biden because of his (Obama's) lack of inter national experience. McCain now selects the Governor of Alaska (the first female to run for vice president on the Republican ticket). She actually has more experience than Obama, regardless of the size of the city where she was mayor or the state, Alaska, where she is governor. So now we have the Democrats supporting a candidate for the highest office with less experience then the person running for vice president on the Republican ticket. This is going to be the most exciting election that I have been involved in, in all the years that I have been of voting age. We might elect for the first time a bi-racial president or a female vice president. I look forward to Nov. 4. Hope fully, both parties will deal with the important issues facing this country and stay away from the usual politics.
