Meet local Republican candidates Sunday at picnic

The 15th annual Dundee Township Republican Family Picnic will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7 at Max Freeman Memorial Park, 3rd and North streets, East Dundee.

Attendees can meet Illinois candidates for State, local and other races.

The annual celebration is open to the public with an all-you-can-eat lunch of hot dogs, corn on the cob, drinks, etc. Additionally, there are games and prizes for both children and adults. Door prize drawings begin at 2 p.m.

The event will be held immediately adjacent to the Bike Trail in East Dundee. The DTRCC welcomes bikers of all ages to stop in for free cold drinks.

Meal tickets are $8 donation per person, available in advance or at the event. Children 5 years old and under are free.
