Sprinkler system douses Buffalo Grove fire
Buffalo Grove fire officials said a sprinkler system contained a fire in an office building at 1400 Busch Parkway Tuesday night.
Officials said smoke was coming from the second floor of AmeriSourceBergen when arriving on the scene of the fire at about 8:53 p.m.
Officials said seven employees were in the building when the fire started, but all managed to get out in time. No one was injured in the fire.
The fire reportedly started in a cubicle of the office, officials said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by fire inspectors.
Long Grove, Lincolnshire-Riverwoods and Deerfield fire departments assisted in the fire, while Barrington, Rolling Meadows, Wauconda and Palatine Rural fire protection districts assisted by manning stations in Buffalo Grove during the fire.
