Elk Grove supports Knights drive

On behalf of Albert Cardinal Meyer Council 5751 Knights of Columbus, Elk Grove Village. we extend thanks to our greater Elk Grove Village community for its generous support of the Mental Retardation and Learning Disabilities Tootsie Roll fund drive Sept. 19-20.

This event is an annual Knights of Columbus statewide project that started in 1969 with Cardinal Meyer Council participating every year since its inception. Funds collected at street intersections and local store fronts within the village go to state-approved charity organizations that service those with mental and learning disabilities.

Since 1969 Cardinal Meyer Council has collected and distributed close to $200,000 to community charities.
