Briefs: Charity car show

The 2nd Annual Charity Car and Motorcycle Show sponsored by Kane County Sheriff Pat Perez is planned for noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 21 at the sheriff's office, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles. 301 to dispose of old student records:

Central Community Unit School District 301 will dispose of student temporary records from graduating classes of 2002 and 2003 on Nov. 15. Parents and students can request copies of these records prior to their destruction. Call (847) 464-6005 for information.

Village celebrates 50 years:

To commemorate its 50th anniversary, Sleepy Hollow is selling a limited edition die cast replicas of police squad cars. Cars come in a clear case with a base and feature hoods and door that open. The cars are $50 plus $10 shipping and handling. All proceeds benefit the Illinois Special Olympics.
