Kudos to Kennedy Junior High School

My hearty congratulations to Kennedy Jr. High, not only for being named a NCLB-Blue Ribbon School (one of only 40 junior highs nationally), but also for winning the 2008 Partnership School Award from the National Network of Partnership Schools (NNPS) at Johns Hopkins University.

Highlands Elementary School also won the Partnership School Award (for the ninth time), and Naperville District 203, also for the ninth time, received an award, with eight of District 203's programs being featured in the Promising Partnership Practices 2008 handbook.

We all know District 203's commitment to excellence, but it is the district reaching out to parents, residents, and business leaders alike, coupled with the willingness of countless volunteers from these groups to enrich our children's education, that nurtures our schools academic excellence and makes this town a truly great place to raise a family.
