Immigration laws must be enforced

I'm writing in response to the article on the Elgin anti-immigration activists that want to make a display that is a copy of the soldiers killed in action display. "Empty Shoes, Empty Hearts." It's a good name for it but not strong enough.

It is time that we Americans stand up to our government and demand that our immigration laws are enforced and followed to the letter, that our Constitution is followed and that includes Article 14.

Maybe doing this will lower the cost of medical care and school, free up jobs for our young people who need these jobs to pay for their education and stop all the free handouts to all illegal immigrants.

Maybe then and only then we can get our country and pride back.
