McCain no maverick thanks to GOP

In yet another McCain flip-flop on the campaign trail... instead of showing some "maverick" backbone and selecting his original front-runner for VP, Joe Leiberman, he reaches into a hat/jar/sack and pulls out the name of Sarah Palin! By now, everyone knows of her HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENTS while governing for the past 21 months the state of Alaska. But, that's another soap opera, with more to come.

No, McCain, who was strongly letting it be known that Independent Joe Leiberman was his clear-cut choice for VP, literally leapt back from that decision when he heard a rumor that the Far Right faction of the delegates would "revolt" at the GOP convention and withhold their vote for his nomination unless he rethought that radical choice! And just like that, the "maverick" was broken, saddled and led to drink from the GOP/STAY THE COURSE nomination trough! Sadly, this once-rambunctious, spirited "maverick" now looks like just an old swaybacked plow horse for the Conservative/WITH US OR AGAINST US, MORE OF THE SAME clueless Republican Party!
