VFW appreciates community support

Hampshire Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8043 and the Ladies Auxiliary would like to thank the members of the Post and Ladies Auxiliary, Hampshire/Burlington communities and the surrounding area for the excellent support at Coon Creek Days and Burlington Fall Fest of our recent drawing held Sept. 7 to benefit the scholarship programs at Hampshire High School and Burlington Central High School.

The winners: Bob Ramm, Bonnie Scott and Jim Peters.

The patriotic buckets sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary were won by Debra Pease at Coon Creek Days and Shirley Zoellick at Burlington Fall Fest. Without the support of our members and the community we would not be able to continue the school programs, community activities, military service personnel and other veteran programs. Again, thank you, and we ask for your continued support - it is greatly appreciated.
