Why is the press giving a free pass to Governor

Palin? Her campaign has said she will answer questions when 1) she is given proper "deference" and 2) when they are "ready." What about ready for office from day one?

They're not even ready for the campaign process. If McCain says he vetted her, then fine, but now it'sthe turn of the American people they say they're working for. But those two are only giving canned appearances.

Do we need another executive branch that holdsitself above the people it professes to serve? Despite thepretty packaging, this is looking very similar tothe last eight years. What a surprise that the greatgives comes from by one of George Bush'sown speech writers. That tells us everything.
