•Burglars broke a window to steal a stereo out of a vehicle in the 600 block of North Van Nortwick Street between 12:15 and 6:51 a.m. Aug. 20.
•Two youths were suspended from Batavia High School Aug. 20 for suspected, unspecified gang activity.
•Ossama O. Abdelnour, 43, of 406 Grove Court, Batavia, was charged with battery, after an incident at 1:06 a.m. Aug. 20 outside of a restaurant in the 100 block of West Wilson Street.
•A dump truck with a red cab bearing the insignia "CSS" drove off without paying for $211 worth of diesel fuel Aug. 19 at the Batavia Mobil station at 2074 W. Main St.
•Someone damaged landscaping lights and stole a decorative stone in a yard in the 900 block of Wind Energy Pass between 11 p.m. Aug. 18 and 6 a.m. Aug. 19.
•A burglar broke a window to steal a GPS device from a vehicle between 9 p.m. Aug. 18 and 10 a.m. Aug. 19 in the 0-99 block of Cottonwood Circle.
•Between 6:30 p.m. Aug. 18 and 9:45 a.m. Aug. 19, someone threw eggs on a vehicle and a house in the 100 block of Lootens.
•A boys bicycle was reported stolen Aug. 19 at Rotolo Middle School, 1501 S. Raddant Road.
•A resident's medication was reported stolen Aug. 19 at Heritage Woods assisted living center, 1079 E. Wilson St.
• Unknown items were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1200 block of Thrun Drive, it was reported Aug. 19.
• A burglar smashed a window and stole a mobile entertainment unit out of a vehicle between 11:30 p.m. Aug. 19 and 4:15 a.m. Aug. 20 in the 900 block of Britta Lane.
•Two valve stems were broken, and their two tires kicked to deflate them and separate the tires from their rims, it was reported at 6:32 a.m. Aug. 21 in a parking lot in the 200 block of North Randall Road. Two valve stems were also reported damaged on another vehicle in the same lot at the same time.
St. Charles
• Eric James Temen, 24, of 214 Walnut St. in St. Charles was arrested on Aug. 19 for driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
• Tina Marie Williamson, 34, of 1200 Bunkerhill Court A in Wheaton Aug. 18 for driving a vehicle with a suspended registration and a suspended license.
