Blagojevich to announce help for vets

SPRINGFIELD -- Governor Rod Blagojevich is announcing new help for severely disabled veterans.

Blagojevich spokesman Lucio Guerrero said the assistance would be property tax help for veterans.

Guerrero declined to provide more details in advance of Sunday afternoon's announcement.

Blagojevich is scheduled to make the announcement during Veterans Day at the Illinois State Fair.

Blagojevich is expected to be joined by Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs Director Tammy Duckworth.
