Offensive column on Olympic swimming
Mike Imrem's column about Olympic swimming was extremely condescending to those of us who enjoy the sport, not to mention that his remark about Hillary Clinton was completely inappropriate and offensive.
He is perfectly welcome to voice his distaste of sports such as swimming, running, and biking, but he ought to do so in a way that does not condemn those of us who enjoy said sports. I don't go around telling people they are completely insane because they like to watch baseball and football, even though I find them only slightly more interesting than Imrem's columns.
Perhaps he should try to match one of Phelps' world records and then write a column about his abysmal failure. That would be a piece worth reading.
